AIAA Wichita Section Logo

The AIAA Wichita Section is proud to be the host for the 2010 Student Paper Conference. We are organizing a number of tours of the local manufacturing facilities plus a very special offsite event that will provide a unique aerospace experience to all that attend this year's conference. Check back regularly for updates.

WHAT IS THE CONFERENCE ABOUT?

The AIAA Student Conference is a technical paper competition for AIAA student members at both the undergaduate and graduate levels. Students from regional schools are invited to submit papers and give formal presentations that are judged for technical content and communication skills. A cash prize is awarded to the top three winners in each category plus presenters are also invited to attend the National AIAA Foundation conference.

In addition to the competition, the conference provides a venue for students and faculty to interact and discuss current Aerospace topics while participating in local social activities.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The conference is open to anyone interested in the Aerospace field. Students are encouraged to attend even if they don't plan on submitting a paper for judging. The conference provides an excellent opportunity to network with other Aerospace students as well as with industry professionals and teachers.

Please note that any person submitting a paper for competition must be a national member of the AIAA. See the Conference Rules link on the left side navigation pane for details.

HOW TO REGISTER?

Check the links on the left navigation bar for key dates (registration and paper submission deadlines) as well as the Registration Guide for complete instructions on registering for the conference and paper submission.
